You need to put your health first yet so many of us will leave our health at the bottom of the priority list, leaving it unattended until it gets to late & we fall into ill health.
We seem to take health for granted & that makes us feel invincible up to the point that our health fails & then we look at our health. This attitude is clearly wrong & it is up to you to take preventative action with your health & this will not only make you feel better & more energetic, you will also have your body literally thanking you & add years to your life.
The western culture, in particular the US & the UK are getting fatter & becoming overweight & obese. As a result of this more people are trying to slim down & lose some weight but the problem here is a lot of people are not trying to lose weight for the right reasons. Losing weight should be because you want to do it for yourself & not for any other reason such as your boyfriend / husb& wants you to lose weight. The motivation needs to come from within for you to successfully lose & keep off the weight. How many times do people lose several pounds in weight only to put it back on within a few months.
It really is important that you “love yourself” before you decide to embark on losing the weight. Irrespective of your size now you must have the self belief & confidence in yourself that you not only look & feel good now but you are going to look & feel great after you start your new lifestyle choice, yes lifestyle choice & not a diet. It is so important that you incorporate your healthy living lifestyle into a way of life rather then having the mentality of doing a diet otherwise you are unfortunately more likely to fail.
Incorporate Health Education Into Your Life

Staying healthy is extremely important in this modern world. However, many people find that despite their best efforts they just cannot stay as fit as they should be. Many people dream of change in their bodies, though the best way to do this is simply to learn more about health & about the human body. Health education is extremely important, & an often overlooked factor when it comes to maintaining optimum levels of fitness.
Whilst many people are interested in staying healthy, recent surveys have suggested the American population are actually extremely unaware of what it really takes to keep us healthy. This could be due to the fact that not enough information is available on health, or it could be down to the fact that people just don’t know how to interpret the information that is there. Many modern illnesses are a result of stress, of our diet, of our environment, & most importantly of our attitude. There are many unhealthy behaviors which we need to try change order to stay healthy. The only way we can do this is to learn exactly what is healthy & what is detrimental to a whole.
Health education is not something that will come to us, it is something that we have to actively seek. Many of us are connected through the Internet to a vast amount of information at our fingertips (this includes a over its 60% of the population of America). However, whilst there are hundreds of websites detailing information on health & the human body, many people are not actively seeking out this information. These sites or just not for medical students, they’re for anyone who is willing to learn about the health of their bodies. For example there are images, videos, articles, & the regularly updated blogs detailing many, many ways in which to lead a healthier lifestyle.
Health comes from many different sources. We should learn about what is a healthy diet in order to keep our bodies healthy, but we should also combine this with creating an exercise regimen that works for us as an individual & learning about possible risks. Underst&ing cardiac physiology it helps us to underst& about the heart, & therefore about the blood that shows throughout our bodies. Heart problems are one of the most common killers in today’s society, so this is just one way in which you learn about health in order to prevent problems in later life.

Health care for all is a big challenge, but one achieved. The situation is such that, in a world bursting at its seams with health related information, we are caught in a dilemma of not knowing how to use it for our personal health. But there seems to be a ray of hope. Whole Health Education is now providing us with a perspective on all aspects of our bodies from the physical to the mental & the spiritual to help us to stay healthy.
For instance, diabetes affects nearly 18 million Americans; there are 240 million people suffering from diabetes all over the world & one person is dying every ten seconds due to diabetes. This is a leading health concern. Health education can restore the health of people with such chronic diseases.
On the Physical & Structural aspects, Whole Health Education educates on what organs & what physical processes in our bodies fail that causes the onset of diabetes. It tells that it is the inability of the body to convert the sugar intake into energy required by the body & other related information.
Diabetes can cause Emotional & Social problems. This is what the Emotional & Social aspect of Whole Health Education teaches us. In what way does diabetes effect our emotion? Most often it results in a case of poor self esteem. The effects of the ups & downs of the sugar in the blood stream can destabilize our sense of security & make us anxiety prone & fearful.
Whole Health Education provides information on the nutritional side of the disease & tell us what foods we should take & what foods we should avoid when we are suffering from diabetes. It tells us to eat less & to eat right. That vegetables are the best bet in combination with lean meat & proteins from the likes of fish & chicken. In a situation where your blood sugar has fallen below the normal level it is not wise to eat grain or sugar but sprouted grain bread etc. which can be satisfying.
Whole Health Education transforms the way we look after ourselves providing you an underst&ing of our health concerns. & by giving us the information in a way that helps us to underst& our disease helps us to not only resolve the problem but also underst& the care we choose the have. We, then, become the core of our healing process.
