Cell polarity and signaling in neural development

A postdoctoral/research associate position is available in the Department of Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, starting summer 2007 to study signaling and cell polarity in mammalian neural progenitor/stem cells.

Areas of primary interest: epithelial cell polarity, Wnt signaling, asymmetric cell division and neural stem/progenitor cells.  Preference will be given to applicants with strong background in cell biology and molecular biology.
